I had a fun time at a store in Costa Mesa, right next to a delicious ramen shop called Hakata Ikkousha, in English. The standard tonkotsu soup that they make is truly rich and mouthwateringly fragrant, the smell of pork wafting up from it in steam palpable. I love that you can choose the texture of your noodles, ranging from soft to extra hard (extra hard is my preferred choice), and you can add toppings, such as flavored egg, and gyoza as a side dish. The shop itself is small and welcoming, with an amiable atmosphere to eat in. It is by far one of my favorite noodle shops in Orange County. My mom and I go there at least once a week.
So the store that I looked at is called LFT by No Rest For Bridget. It was a pretty cool store, with a large selection of clothing, like an outlet, sorted by colors for the most part. Most of the clothes there were classy and chic, and have that bright and clean look that many girls are into. The styles and patterns of the dresses and shirts were really cute! One of my favorite things that I tried on was a dark red romper, with buttons on the front and a cute V-neck. Since I do not normally wear those types of clothes, I did not buy it, but I do recommend it to others.
In the end, I bought a long, dark red top with a layered turtleneck design. I liked how the turtleneck part of the loose sweater looked like a scarf. It will surely fight the cold during this winter. I am probably going to return some other time, with more money. I guess me meeting this store is not going to help with my pro-prudence imbuing efforts.
It is a dream of mine to own a poet blouse. The style of the bishop sleeves is too adorable! I hope one day I will find the perfect one.
