Cavalia

Last night at eight o'clock my family and I drove to Irvine to see Cavalia's Odysseo, a horse show. We missed the Black Friday deal (bummer!) so we ended up paying a lot, but it was a great experience! In the beginning, there was a couple sitting in front of us that kept trying to take videos, and the light from their phone bothered me. Eventually, someone came and forced them to stop, thankfully. I was surprised by the tricks that the horses could do. It was beyond my imagination to think that horses could be trained to walk sideways. I enjoyed seeing them walk as a line in a circle and create rings. The acrobats and the other performers were great, too, doing fast spins and dangerous stunts on the back of a horse. The light effects were pretty nice in creating a certain mood fit for each segment. My mom and I bought a shirt each during the intermission to commemorate the day. Photos and videos were not permitted during the performances, but at the closing dance, everyone jumped up at the chance to get a shot or two, including me, ha-ha. I had a fun two hours and a half.
