The year is almost at its end! For students, that means wonderful finals at school (No, I am not being sarcastic.). For others, rest from work to spend valuable time with family and friends. It is a time for sending the year off with a solid salute and welcoming the next whole year with warm hugs. It is a time for reminiscing on the good and bad old memories and dreaming of the future. It is a time when most people become swept into optimism and effervescence (Although, that does not stop teachers from handing out assignments over the break.). There is a lot to look forward to this month.
Random note: I am drinking soda and eating a candy cane for a late night snack. Not healthy.
Litographs: I found this store online and thought it was cute for having book-related merchandise and awesome for Christmas (or just holiday) presents. There are posters, t-shirts, tote bags, and scarves for books like Crime and Punishment, Pride and Prejudice, The Canterbury Tales, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, The Great Gatsby, Emma, Les Miserables, Persuasion, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and even the more modern Throne of Glass. There are even The Declaration of Independence and the Bible. My favorite is the scarves. They each have the text of certain books on them in tiny script, which can come in many different colors. It was pretty neat and as a book lover, my heart beamed in delight at seeing some of my favorite books. They have a large selection, but you can even custom-make your scarves if you want. I am definitely going to buy at least one scarf for myself, but I am still trying to narrow my number of choices down from ten to three. Don Quixote and Pride and Prejudice are definitely going to be one of my final three.
Cinnamon rolls. Cinnamon dreams. Cinnamon cocoa. Cinnamon love. Cinnamon life. Cinnamon powder. Cinnamon power. Cinnamon hazard. Cinnamon showers. Cinnamon randomness. Welcome to The Cinnamon Note.

ACT Preparations
Just when you believe that you will never have to use any of the knowledge that you gain in geometry class, you take your first ACT practice test and discover that yes, you do have to access two year-old memories from one of your least favorite, or at least one of the more boring, math courses you took in high school. And when you are like me and neglect studying for the college entrance exam until it is looming over you with a week to go, you visit as many websites as you can to aid you. Yup, early preparation, in the summer or even in the years before, will help in the long run.
Here are some articles that I have been reading from recently:
